Marella Cruises

Marella Cruises – formerly Thomson Cruises is to add a fifth ship to its fleet in 2023. Having parted with Marella Celebration and Marella Dream during the pandemic, the line is to acquire Mein Schiff Herz from the parent TUI Group and convert it into Marella Voyager. The new addition, originally from the same Celebrity Cruises Century-Class as Marella Explorer and Explorer 2, will feature two new venues for Marella – a Mexican diner and a secret speakeasy bar – while keeping favourites such as Surf & Turf, Nonna's and Snack Shack. The cruise line will also achieve its dream of sailing from the US In 2023.

 Why choose this cruise line?

'Marella’ means ‘shining sea’ in Celtic and indeed guests can sail all over the world, from Mediterranean beaches to time-stamped Asian temples. There's the option to fly from 24 regional UK airports, or setting sail from the UK. The growing fleet covers everything from family-friendly to adults-only ships.
Plus, unlike many cruise lines, Marella Cruises include tipping and service charges in our prices, so you don’t have to worry about paying extra. They like to keep things nice and flexible, too. Book a Cruise & Stay holiday, for instance – and your cruise package will include a hotel stay.
A whopping 90 percent of Marella customers said the service was very good or excellent – and were impressed by how staff recognised them on a return visit.
